Private lesson fees vary. Please contact us for more information. Dan Fox - ensembles, lessons on trombone, bass, drums, and beginning guitar. Dan has performed at concerts and functions, in radio and TV studios, and for musicals throughout the US, Europe and Japan. Venues include the Newport Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, and Beantown Jazz Festival. Performances on trombone include traditional and straight ahead jazz concerts with Herb Pomeroy, New Black Eagle Jazz Band, Gene Krupa Orchestra, Cab Calloway Orchestra, Lou Colombo/ Dick Johnson Group, and more modern jazz with Ben Monder, John Tchicai, Matthew Garrison, Greg Hopkins 16 Piece, Fully Celebrated Orchestra, and The Either/Orchestra. Fox has also played in big bands backing jazz legends Louis Bellson, Paquito D'Rivera, Joe Lovano, and Clark Terry. On bass, Dan freelances with singer/songwriters and world music acts in the Boston area. He has backed bands such as The Cadillacs, The Chantels, and Rock 'N Roll Hall of Famer Charlie Thomas and the Drifters. For Dan's upcoming gigs click here. Jennifer Elowsky-Fox- Piano. Although Jennifer is currently a Professor in the Piano Department at the Berklee College of Music, she has considerable experience teaching people of all different level and ages. She has earned a Masters Degree from Boston University and a Bachelors Degree from Central Michigan University. Her performances in New England as soloist, chamber musician and duo pianist include numerous world premieres and commissions, both in concert and on radio. She was a recipient of a grant from the St. Botolph Club in Boston, which enabled her to complete her solo CD, entitled Pictures and Images. The commissioned piece on the record, The Galilee Hitch-Hiker, by Stephen Halloran, won the Renee B. Fisher Award. She is at work on her second CD , a collection of chamber music performed with members of the Boston Pops. Billy Novick - sax, clarinet Billy is internationally recognized as a musician, performer, arranger and composer. He has toured extensively throughout North America, Europe and Asia, and has made spotlight appearances at numerous festivals, including the Kool, Newport, Edinburgh, Brecon (Wales), Marsiac (France), Breda (Netherlands) and L.A. Classic jazz festivals, as well as the Philadelphia and Winnipeg folk festivals.He has performed with blues greats Robert Junior Lockwood, Willie Dixon, and Duke Robillard, as well as jazz musicians such as Scott Hamilton, Milt Hinton, Herb Pomeroy, Dave McKenna and Butch Thompson. Mike Duke - guitar, blues/rock ensembles One of the area's most versatile guitarists, Mike has performed with Van Morrison, Boz Scaggs, Cab Calloway, Rock 'n' Roll pioneer pianist Johnny Johnson, The Holmes Brothers, Peter Wolf, The Coasters, and The Drifters. Mike has performed at New Orleans Jazz Fest with George Porter, Jr., Kermit Ruffins, Henry Butler, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Ernie K-Doe, Frankie Ford, Marva Wright, James Andrews, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, and Charmaine Neville. Steve Langone - drums Steve is at the top of the call list for New England jazz gigs and recording sessions and has performed at clubs and festivals in the United States, South America and Europe. He is a Guest Artist/Teacher at the University of Rhode Island and teaches percussion at Wellesley College. Jennifer Truesdale Brogan - Voice/Songwriting A 20-year veteran of the music industry, Jennifer has performed with many of the top musicians and bands in the New England area. As Boston's premier vocal coach, she has worked with hundreds of singers, helping each to achieve their own personal goals. Jennifer is a published songwriter, who has written, produced and performed on recordings for major network television shows including: All My Children, Soul Food, Melrose Place, Sunset Beach, One Life To Live and The Young and the Restless. |
